401k Lookup shows retirement plan information as the plans filed it with the government. It is not financial or legal advice, the plan's own records govern, and you use the site at your own risk.

Information only

401k Lookup publishes information about employers' retirement plans taken from public records: the Form 5500 annual reports plans file with the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's list of trusteed plans. Plan figures are shown as each plan filed them and can be out of date. Contact details are the plan's own, as of the filing shown. The site does not locate individual accounts or money, and it cannot tell you whether you have a balance in any plan. Confirm everything with the plan administrator or recordkeeper before you act on it; their records take precedence over anything on this site.

Not professional advice

Nothing on 401k Lookup is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and using the site does not create an advisory or other professional relationship with Goods Media LLC. You are responsible for checking what you find here with the plan and for every decision you make with it, such as a rollover, a withdrawal or a benefit claim. You use the site and act on its content at your own risk.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Goods Media LLC works to keep the site accurate and corrects confirmed errors, but filings can contain mistakes, plans change providers and contact details after they file, and grouping plans under employers can occasionally be wrong. Each plan shows the year of the filing its figures come from.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Goods Media LLC and its members, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, profits, data or business, arising from use of or inability to use the site or reliance on its content, even if advised of the possibility. Because the site is free, Goods Media LLC's total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; where that is so, these limits apply to the extent allowed.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Goods Media LLC against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Sources, links and trademarks

Pages cite and link to third-party sites such as the Department of Labor, the PBGC, recordkeepers and unclaimed-property searches. Goods Media LLC does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability; their own terms apply. Citing or linking to a source does not mean its publisher endorses 401k Lookup. 401k Lookup is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Department of Labor, the PBGC, or any employer, recordkeeper or other plan provider named on the site. Employer, plan and provider names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify plans.

Using the content

You may use the pages for your own purposes and print them, and linking to any page is welcome. The underlying filings are public government records, published by the Department of Labor and the PBGC. These terms may change; the date at the top of this page shows the last update, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona.
